Volleyball legend Sabine Stork returns to the SMBC girl’s program in 2008 after taking a season off. Following the culmination of her successful career as a player for Cal State Northridge (capped by an NCAA National Championship in 1983), she dove immediately into coaching and found another area in which to excel. She has coached for several renowned high school programs, including Francis Parker of San Diego, where as Varsity coach in the late eighties she won back-to-back CIF Championships. She spent several seasons coaching for the San Diego Volleyball Club, not to mention several more with renowned volleyball mind Walt Kerr in the Santa Clarita Valley.
